Thank you to The Groves' Parent Teacher Club for funding our field trips! You all make The Groves' a special place!!
Look for a new club at Oak Grove. The "Oak Grove Gives Back Club" will be meeting on early release days at 8:00 a.m. This club will organize and plan ways to do charitable work for our community, people across the country, and around the world. We are looking for students who want to make a difference! Parents are responsible for transportation to school.
Thank you Pizza King! Pizza King of Albany has offered to donate 15 kid's meal gift certificates each month to both Fir Grove & Oak Grove. These certificates will be used to recognize positive behaviors. When you are in Pizza King, please be sure to thank the owner, Ruby Lewis, for this awesome donation and support.
Sick Kids? Be sure to call the school offices to let us know if your child will be late or not attending school for some reason. With our new attendance program, if we haven't heard from an adult we need to mark each absence as unexcused.
PTC News Be sure to check the PTC page to read the minutes of the latest meeting! Our wonderful PTC is a great place to keep up on what is happening at The Groves.
Breakfast is now being served at The Groves. The cost for breadfast is $1.10. Oak Grove students pick up breakfast and take it to the classroom to avoid missing instruction Lunch prices have changed starting the 08-09 school year; regular student lunches now cost $1.80 ea., milk .40 ea.
Be sure to check the school calendar for beginning of the year events!
Please note: Students are to arrive at Oak Grove no earlier than 8:40, with the bell ringing at 8:45. Fir Grove allows students on campus at 8:55.
