Parent Volunteers
Parent volunteers are needed throughout the year at NAMS. Volunteers help with school fundraisers, in the classrooms, as chaperones for field trips, and with other activities during the school year.
A Criminal History Verification form must be filled out and approved each school year before a parent can volunteer in any school in the Greater Albany Public School District. Processing the application takes approximately 5-6 weeks.
Get a head start on the 2008-09 school year and fill one out now so you will be approved when school begins. Don't wait until your child asks you to go with them on their field trip and it's too late to get your application processed.
An application can be mailed to you, or you may come to the office to fill one out.
