The PTA works magic in our school!!!
Without our parents' continual devotion to school projects and activities, Lafayette would not be the great school that it is.
Parents are our partners
Parent-Teacher Organization
Our PTA has provided many resources and fun activities for our children which include the following:
- The building of a fence that encloses our entire playground
- Accelerated Reader awards
- Accelerated Reader field trips
- Library books
- Family fun nights
- Computers and projectors for classrooms
- Window coverings for classrooms
- Currently we are working on the construction of a walking path around the perimeter of our playground

Join us for our first meeting in September. Everyone is welcome. Be involved a little or a lot! You do not have to be a member to attend meetings.
The regular meetings are the first Tuesday of the month.
Money Makers for Lafayette
Wamoola – for people who have an account with Washington Mutual. Lafayette receives a percentage of your transactions with the bank.
Albertson’s – only need to use school card once and it will be attached to your data on Albertson’s card. Cards are available in the office. Lafayette receives a percentage of the money you spend at Albertson's.
Escrip – for use with Safeway card. Go online and www.escrip.com and give your Safeway card number. Lafayette receives a percentage of the money you spend at Safeway.
General Mills Boxtops for Education. All our PE and recess equipment comes from the funds raised. Most boxtops are worth $.10. This is a great money maker for the school.
