- Trend OfficeScan - Click on the version of OfficeScan for your operating system and save it to your desktop: Windows 95/98 - Windows 2000/XP. Double-click on the program to install. This is a fully automated silent installation. The program will automatically update itself with new pattern files. If the program does not install properly, you will receive an error message. If it does install properly, the only indication you will have is a small blue circular icon in the bottom right of your taskbar.
