Guidelines for Computer and Equipment Donations to our School District
We are requesting donations of the following:
Computers:
- P4 1.4 GHz or higher processor
- Windows 2000 Professional or higher operating system
- 512 MB ram
- CD-ROM drive
- 17-inch monitor or better
Printers:
- We will accept only HP printers
- HP Laserjet 4000 or better
- HP Deskjet 700 series or better
We will accept ink cartridges for all HP deskjet printers 700 series and above.
We will accept toner cartridges for all HP laserjet printers 4000 series and above.
Network Equipment:
- Cisco routers, 2500 series or higher
- HP managed switches
- All network equipment must currently be available for sale from the manufacturer.

All donations should be made to the Technology Department of the Greater Albany Public School District. You may request that your donation go to a particular school, but the district will use its discretion in determining final placement of all donated items.
