ELL—English Language Learner Program
The three primary areas of focus for Greater Albany Public Schools' English Language Learner Programs are:
- English Language Development (ELD) to enable students to participate fully in English instruction.
- Support for meaningful access to content through instructional research-based instructional methods.
- Family Outreach – parent involvement, translation/interpretation, family assistance in conjunction with Families and Children Together (F.A.C.T) and Migrant Education.
English Language Development programs and staff certified to teach these programs are found in the following Albany elementary, middle, and high schools:
