Anahí From ‘Rebelde’

Anahí’s name is Anahí Giovanna Puente Portillo. Her birthday is 14th of May 1983, and she was born in Mexico City D.F. Her zodiacal sign is Taurus . Anahí started her career at the age of two in the program ‘Chiquilladazas’. During those years she was the image of a well-known soft drink brand. The song ‘Te Doy Un Besito’ interpreted by the singer was used to close the daily children’s programming of channel 5 in Mexico. She participated in movies like ‘Nacidos Para Morir’ with Humberto Zurita ‘Había Una Vez Una Estrella’ with David Reynoso and Pedro Fernandez, among others. From an early age the actress did several television jobs surprising everybody by her charisma and innate artistic quality. Some of the programs she participated in were; ‘Chiquilladas’, Mujer Casos De Vida Real , ‘Hora Marcada’ , ‘La Telaraña’. She also participated in ‘Clase 406’[2nd season ] as Jessica . She won several awards such as the Ariel award after her acting in the film ‘Hab”a Una Vez Una Estrella’ in 1991, in the same year she won the gold palm award for her career as a young actress. Her records include ‘Anahí’, ‘Hoy Es Mañana’ that include songs like ‘Desconlandote’ and ‘Corazón De Bombón’. She interpreted the song ‘Mensajero Del Señor’, ‘Baby Blue’ from which ‘Primer Amor’ and ‘Super Enamorándome’ ensued ‘Primer Amor’, ‘A Mil Por Hora’ [soundtrack] making a duet with Kuno Becker, a classic in soap operas.

El verdadero nombre de Anahí es Anahí Giovanna Puente Portillo. El cumpleaños de ella es el 14 de mayo del 1983. Ella nació en la ciudad de México D.F. Su signo del zodíaco es Tauro. A la edad de dos años apareció en el programa ‘Chiquilladazas’. En aquella época ella era el símbolo de un refresco muy conocido. La canción ‘Te doy un besito’ se utilizaba para finalizar la programación del Canal 5 en México. Ella participó en películas como ‘Nacidos para morir’ con Humberto Zurita, ‘Había una vez una estrella’ con David Reynoso y Pedro Fernández, entre otros. Cuando ella estaba chiquita participó en novelas como en ‘Chiquilladas’, ‘Mujer casos de la vida real’, ‘Hora marcada’, ‘La telaraña’. Ella también participó en la novela ‘Clase 406’ como Jessica. Ella ha ganado poquitos trofeos como ella ganó un Ariel por su actuación en el programa ‘Había una vez una estrella’ en 1991. Ese mismo año se ganó un premio ‘Palma de oro’ por su carrera desde chiquita. Entre sus discos se encuentran ‘Anahí’ y ‘Hoy es mañana’ y canciones ‘Descontrólate’ y ‘Corazón de bombón’. Interpretó la canción ‘Mensajero del Señor’, ‘Baby Blue’, de cómo ‘Primer Amor’ y ‘Super Enamórame’, A Mil Por Hora [soundtrack] es un dueto con Kuno Becker, como clásico en telenovelas.

Diabetes in My Family
We have had diabetes for generations. How my dad found out that he had diabetes was when he got very thirsty, hungry and he used the restroom a lot. So then my dad called my grandma, Antonia. He told her about his situation. She said he might have diabetes. So my grandma got worried. Then my dad kept talking to her. Later my dad took my brothers and me to the hospital. After interviewing him and testing his blood, he was told he had diabetes. In order for my dad to monitor his diabetes he was given a special machine that tells him if the sugar is high or low. It’s very important if you are a diabetic for you to keep your sugars in a certain range, otherwise you could feel uncomfortable. So then my dad didn’t want to tell my grandma because he didn’t want to upset her. But then he said that she was going to find out later. Later on in the year my dad tried to see if my brothers and I had diabetes. So he took his machine and he told my mom to come, so that he could check if she had diabetes. The machine indicated that my mom doesn’t have diabetes.
Diabetes most often occurs in middle age. Right now there is no cure for diabetes, but scientists are trying to find one.
Diabetes en mi familia
Nosotros hemos tenido diabetes por generaciones. Mi padre se enteró que tenía diabetes cuando tenía mucha, mucha sed y tenía hambre y usaba el baño mucho. Así qué mi padre le llamo a mi abuela, Antonia, y mi abuela le dijo que a la mejor tenía diabetes. Entonces mi abuela se preocupó. Mi padre estaba hable y hable con mi abuela. Luego mi padre nos llevo al hospital. En el hospital le dijeron que fuera un lado del hospital. En el lugar que nos dijeron que fuéramos le dijeron a mi padre que tenía diabetes. Entonces mi padre no le quería decir a mi abuela que tenía diabetes. Luego mi padre dijo que ella se iba a enterar ella misma. Después mi padre trató de ver si mis hermanos y yo teníamos diabetes. Pero no teníamos diabetes. . Luego mi padre agarró su máquina y le dijo a mi mamá que viniera para ver si tenía diabetes. Mi mamá no tiene diabetes.
No hay cura para diabetes, pero los científicos están tratando de encontrar una cura para diabetes.

Answer: Yes, the staff is very supportive and the students are really fun to work with. The environment of the school is very accepting.
Q: Do you like the staff that you work with?
A: Yes, I think we all work together for common goals to benefit everyone. There is a few “I” s in our team.
Q: What subject do you teach?
A: 7th grade Computer Skills and 6th grade Math.
Q: What was your last job?
A: Bookkeeper and Tutor.
Q: Where was your last job?
A: Albany and Corvallis, Oregon, and Alturas, California.
Q: Where were you born?
A: Kansas.
Q: What kind of food do you like?
A: Home cooked meals.

A: Purple!!!!!

Respuesta: Bien, los empleados me han apoyado bastante y los estudiantes son bien lindos y me responden bien. El entorno de la escuela es bien acogedor.
P: ¿Le caen bien los empleados que trabajan con usted? ¿Por que?
R: Sí, yo pienso que todos colaboramos para llegar a metas comunes que nos benefician a todos. Hay unos pocos que no colaboran.
P: ¿Que materias enseña?
R: Clases de Computación del grado 7 y Matemáticas del grado 6.
P: ¿Cual fue su último trabajo?
R: Contable y Tutora.
P: ¿Donde fue su último trabajo?
R: Albany y Corvallis, Oregon. También en Alturas, California.
P: ¿En dónde nació?
R: Kansas.

LAS ALERGIAS

Las alergias son muy peligrosas. Unos de los síntomas son estornudar y la nariz suelta y a veces si no se cuida la gente le puede dar sinusitis. Y otras enfermedades muy peligrosas.
Unos de los 3 pasos que puede seguir para evitar las alergias:
- Limpiar muy bien la casa que no haya tanto polvo.
- Evite los olores fuertes como el perfume y otros.
- También si tiene mascotas, que no huelan, que los tenga limpios.

THE DAY OF THE DEAD: A HISPANIC TRADITION

On the day of the dead people go with their families to the cemetery. They take candles, flowers, and food. People who have money get a band to play music at the cemetery. People are over there all day with their families. At some homes candles are lit in remembrance of the deceased.
EL DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS: UNA TRADICIÓN HISPANA

En el día de los muertos las personas van con su familia al cementerio. Llevan velas, flores y comida. Los que tienen dinero contratan a una banda para que toque en el cementerio. Las personas se quedan todo el día con su familia. En unas casas se encienden velas en recuerdo del muerto.
