Accelerated Reader
CMS has thousands of AR tests over thousands of books. We go through the internet for our tests. This allows us an almost limitless supply of tests. Students, parents, and teachers can click on the following web link to search for a book if they want to see if a test is available. This site can be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Acclerated Reader is a great class for those busy students who just can't find the time to read. The class is designed to specifically give time for reading. All grades have opportunities for AR. The sixth graders have AR all year, and this is a required class for seventh and eighth graders to have half the year. Only in rare situations are there students who don't have Accelerated Reader. Accelerated Reader is also a school-wide program to get students to read. Not only is Accelerated Reader a good class to get some reading done, it is, as stated before, a great program to get students motivated to read, and really indulge reading.
