Seismic upgrades: Bids received June 12. Work will be completed this summer.

SOUTH ALBANY HIGH SCHOOL

Boiler replacement: Bids received April 2. Work will be completed this summer.
Electrical upgrades: Bids received May 6. Work will be completed this summer.
Four-classroom technology/distance learning center addition: Will bid July 15. Work will begin in late July to be completed in Fall 2008.

WEST ALBANY HIGH SCHOOL

Boiler replacement: Bids received April 2. Work will be completed this summer.
Electrical upgrades: Bids received May 13. Work will be completed this summer.
Fire alarm replacement: Bids received May 14. Work will begin July 7 to be completed this summer.
Locker room replacement: Work began April 14 to be completed this summer.
Library renovations, classroom conversions, cafeteria access, and the extension of “C” Hall: Bids received June 10. Work in all areas has begun. The library will be completed in Fall 2008; all other areas will be completed this summer.
